RAHI, an acronym for "Resilient Authorization Device for Human Identification & Tracking," is a versatile solution that combines a mobile app and IoT devices to provide comprehensive human tracking, monitoring, and safety features. The mobile app allows users to create groups, chat on real time, track real-time locations, display battery percentages, and trigger emergency alerts with an SOS button. The solution integrates with IoT devices, ensuring tracking and monitoring in the absence of network connectivity. How does real-time location tracking work in the RAHI app?

RAHI App uses the build in location service of the mobile to show the location of the user on the Map provided by Google Map Services and MapMyIndia Map Provider. The app also uses the hardware devices provided by RAHI that uses the BLE and Internet to share the location of your device to the app. The device uses NAVIC and GPS chipsets along with other technologies to bring the location to the device and app.

Is it possible to track someone without their consent?

Tracking someone without their consent is not possible, and attempting to do so can result in legal consequences.

Can I customise the frequency of location updates?

In the current version of the app it is not possible to customise the frequency of location updates but we will come up with this feature in the future updates to make the app’s experience more optimised and based on user requirements. 

What do the different symbols and colours on the map represent?

The location of each user is shown with there profile picture as the marker. Rest all it is shown as the default provided by Google and MapMyIndia.

Are there privacy settings to control who can track my location?

You can completely control the location access on our app and ensure that only the person who you want to provide the access to your location is able to view and track your location and vice versa.

How does the SOS button work in the RAHI app?

If you click on the SOS Button in the RAHI app it sends a notification, SMS and Message on the app to the users added on your Emergency contact list. The message will include your battery percentage and your last location to help your emergency contacts to reach you in time.

How do I set up my emergency contacts?

On the app you can go to the SOS Page to add your emergency contacts. Your emergency contacts will be shown in the top slider of the SOS Page. For the message, the guidelines will be provided by sending text message to the number that you want to store as SoS or Emergency contact number.

What information is shared with my emergency contacts when I trigger the SOS button?

Your Location and Battery percentage is shared with the user when SOS Button is pressed.

Can I cancel an SOS alert once it's been triggered?

Cancelling the SOS alert is not possible once it is triggered.

What if my phone's battery is low when I need to use the SOS button?

If your phone is on and operable you can use the SOS Button even in low battery. The location and battery percentage will be send to the emergency contacts to let them know that you are low on battery. 

Additionally, your group members will always have information of your last location and battery percentage.

• What are RAHI devices, and how do they complement the app?
  • RAHI devices are hardware developed by the R2E Technologies, gives used to integrate with the app to track independently than Mobile GPS.
• Do I need a separate subscription or account for RAHI devices?
  • You can connect RAHI Devices to your account directly. This will ensure seamless integration of your devices and applications.
• Can I track RAHI devices when there's no network or internet connection?
  • Yes, there are different types of RAHI Devices all of which can be tracked without internet connection in a way or another. RAHI devices directly use NAVIC and GPS Satellites to determine location and beacon model uses NRF Module to determine the location of the Device.
  • Our tech team is working on it. Currently, our standalone network that are established in routes enable to track the users in absence of network. 
  • Also, the hardware and technology continuously monitor and store the current location of the users for the usage and data analytics purpose. 
• What's the battery life of RAHI devices, and how do I recharge them?
  • 01 Month to 03 Month, can be charge using normal charger provided with the app. 

• How does the pricing and subscription model work for RAHI services?

• • In the initial six months, our RAHI SaaS solution will operate on a freemium model, allowing users to test its capabilities and share valuable feedback. Following this, our device offerings will be priced between 500 to 5500. The RahiN01, with costs ranging from 500 to 1000 based on factors like range and battery life, will be available, alongside the RahiN03, priced between 4000 to 5500, offering a comprehensive tracking solution.

• Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

• • YAbsolutely, we maintain a hassle-free cancellation policy with no questions asked. Subscriptions are available on a monthly basis, and you can cancel at any time to suit your needs.

• • We accept a variety of payment methods for RAHI subscriptions, including UPI, Credit card, and net banking.

How do I download and install the RAHI app on my device?

In First Phase, RAHI app is only available for Android devices, you can download and install it from the Google Play Store. Here are the steps to do that:

Open Google Play Store: On your Android device, find the Google Play Store icon (a colourful play button) and tap on it to open the store.

Search for "RAHI": Use the search bar at the top of the Play Store to search for "RAHI."

Locate the App: In the search results, find the RAHI app in the list of applications.

Download and Install: Tap on the RAHI app in the search results. You will see an "Install" button. Tap on it to begin the download and installation process.

Wait for Installation: The app will start downloading, and after it's downloaded, it will automatically install on your device.

Open the App: Once the installation is complete, you can open the RAHI app by locating its icon on your device's home screen or in the app drawer.

Make sure you have an active internet connection (mobile data or Wi-Fi) to download the app from the Google Play Store. If you encounter any issues during the installation, ensure that your device is compatible with the app's requirements and that you have enough storage space available.

Is the RAHI app available for both iOS and Android?

Do I need a data or internet connection to use the RAHI app?

Real-Time Location Tracking: To provide live location updates, the app requires an internet connection to transmit and receive location data.

Data Synchronisation: Internet connectivity is essential for syncing your location data, settings, and preferences with the RAHI server and other devices if you're using hardware components.

While an internet connection is essential for the app's primary functionality, it's worth noting that some aspects of the app may work with lower or intermittent connectivity, depending on the specific features and hardware integration. However, for the most reliable and robust performance, having a data or internet connection is recommended.
